Dear Elders and Sister, The West Indies Mission has seen a record broken this week. The Suriname Elders Broke the record of Baptisms ever performed in one week in Suriname. 14 Baptized and Confirmed, But how did that happened? No Secret It is Called Accountability and hard Work.At our last Leadership Training Elder Roepers and Elder Lake introduced to us The Goal keeper, they also reported how they had committed and work to have Perfect 7 days of contacts as a Zone, the result was 3 times more investigators at church . The regular review of the Goals and reports, the Nightly Calls and the Constant focus on the realisation of their commitment turn into the People Progressing and ready to be baptized.Elder Roepers says "We saw results as we worked on sanctifying ourselves and being obedient. The fact that we really focused on teaching people and discerning their needs, our investigators were able to progress.Nightly calls were key for us, we have had many changes this transfer with new elders coming in late, normaly the numbers should have dropped with all those changes, but because of the nighly calls and review by name of the progress in each areas the ball never dropped."Elder Thompson says " The minute we started to apply the things we learn in Leadership training things started to change. The missionaries because of the nightly follow-ups were constantly informed of the progress made by the zone, they started to look forward for the nightly calls to know how were the investigators doing for their baptisms. At that moment our Goals became so much more important to us as missionaries, we saw the love and the care of the missionaries grow for those baptism candidates". Their goals for October was 12 baptisms, they reached 16.CONGRATULATION !!!!They look forward to get together as a zone for an activity to rejoice and enjoy the unity that develoopped as they worked hard together to reach their goals. I know that all of you have been working hard to reach your goals, and I thank you for it we have had 26 baptisms this week it is one of the best we had.We can learn some key principles that can help be more successful from this experience.May we all be blessed as we apply the principles of accountability and hard work.Thank you for all of you and the hard work that you are putting in, just some little adjustments can create the Miracles that we all want to see as a mission. Zone Leaders District Leaders, Be the Goal keepers !!!!
